Spelling Rules for words with C, S & Z in Spanish

October 8, 2020 by Carmen 1 Comment

In Spanish, words with C, S, & Z have the same sound. They are pretty confusing to write if you don’t know the rules. The Spelling Rules in Spanish might be the solution to these questions. Rules with word examples will help reduce doubts when questioning the correct way of writing them. The purpose of this resource is to assist them. The practice task cards can be used in the literacy centers, can be used as practice play, and as a quiz. The puzzle words included are a great way to practice. So students can review, play and have fun as they learn.

The Spelling Rules in Spanish, is a 24-page document that assists teachers to improve students’ writing skills. It includes the spelling rules, a practice test to review what they’ve learned and also word puzzles to find the letter that is missing. Answer keys for the puzzles and the assessments are included. Check it out at Teachers Pay Teachers, The Bilingual Teacher Store.

I would appreciate your comments, and how it works for you. Thank you.

I’ve always wanted to learn a different language. Spanish or Italian. Spanish because the Spaniards colonized us for 400 years; some of the words we use daily are Spanish. And Italian because I’m fascinated by their culture, food, and views.
