Valentine’s History In Spanish
$5.00
Here’s a great resource that talks about the story of St. Valentine’s Day, which is one based on tales that people used to tell, so no one knows whether it’s true or not because is not too clear. It some facts and ideas on how the world made decisions at the time. It shows the difference between what’s a democracy and a dictatorship. Your students might want to discuss how a ruler changes the rules without asking the people.
I found some “facts” that might be included in your class discussion about this theme that students love and enjoy so much. This resource includes:
- I have also included the history of St. Valentine’s Day, task cards that they can review in your Literacy Centers
- Summarization graphs on what happened at the beginning of the story, middle and end
- a map of the Roman Empire at the time,
- timeline,
- assessment questions that you can grade,
- how the main character changed throughout the story, and
- a word search together
- also included are the answer keys.
