This document includes multiple-choice short stories, where students will determine what format the author has used for the story. In other words, the text structure: descriptive, sequence, cause and effect, compare and contrast and problem and solution.

There are 20 stories in this document for them to read and solve. This is a great way to practice text structures and to be able to recognize it once they get used to it. I suggest you use these stories once they have learned the five text structures and know their format.
