Comprehension Strategies Posters

Great posters! Keep them handy for your students to review their reading comprehension strategies.
The posters are colorful and have instructions on what to do when they are predicting, visualizing, making connections, asking questions, inferring, and summarizing.
Also included are small cards with reminders of the strategies mentioned in the posters. A great way for students to remember what they need to be doing while reading. The small cards, as well as the posters, can be laminated and kept in literacy centers for their use. I put them in their group tables to remind them what they need to be doing while reading. Place the posters in a reading area so that students can use them when needed.
Included also are six (6) rectangular reading strategies for students to do. Here, they can answer the questions while they are reading their stories. Make a bunch of those and keep them handy for your students to use and practice. Remembering all these strategies is something that will come along, but it requires practice. These posters, small cards and practice strategies will help them achieve that goal
