The Goalie Story in Spanish is one of those subjects that Hispanic children love because that’s one of their favorite sports. The great majority of our Hispanic students play and watch soccer with their family. It’s one of those sports that have been in their countries for years and they really follow the players and their teams.
This is a Realistic Fiction story that was inspired by my daughter’s life as a soccer player growing up in Texas. Of course, I’ve changed some details in the story like the name and other situations.
