Figurative Language Task Cards In Spanish
$6.00
Figurative language uses figures of speech to be more real, convincing, and powerful. Metaphors, similes, and allusions go beyond the literal meanings of the words to give readers new insights. On the other hand, alliterations, imageries, or onomatopoeias are symbolic strategies that appeal to the intellects of the students. Figurative language can appear in numerous practices with the use of different fictitious and linguistic strategies.
Learning these strategies is not easy because they are complicated and tend to confuse the students. I created this resource with the intention of making it easier for both the teacher and the students to learn it and apply it. The resource contains 60 task cards of metaphors, similes, onomatopoeia, personification and alliteration. Also included is an answer key of the task card for your convenience. Included also are five posters with the figurative language words to post as you introduce or review this task. Also I’ve made writing paper so students can practice writing sentences.
