The Crocodiles and Alligators Informational Text in Spanish discusses the habitats, the way these animals live, the groups that they have in order to survive and other important information regarding these wonderful animals.
This resource focuses on how the animals have survived, where they sleep, how they go about hunting and what are the main facts that are influencing their disappearance from the Earth. The document is written in a “Compare and Contrast” text structure to help students understand why some people get confuse and believe that both animals are the same. Their characteristics might be similar, but they have a lot of things that are different, too.

Once you have read and discussed this document with your students, they will be able to know their differences and similarities, what’s a fact and what’s an opinion, discuss in writing about some of their characteristics, learn the vocabulary by putting the words with their definition in a fun puzzle adventure and finally, take a test.
