The History Of Abraham Lincoln In Spanish
Abraham Lincoln, our 16th President and one of the most beloved presidents of the United States. The man that never lied, the man that focused on justice and liberated the slaves, the man that everyone else wanted to be.
But the history was not written by Lincoln alone, there were others that definitely had a lot to do with this episode of the American History. This resource includes the lives of Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Mary Todd, Clare Barton, the soldiers, The American Civil War, Slavery, the Emancipation Proclamation, the Gettysburg Address in Spanish, and the Assassination of the President.
This resource also includes pages to write, short quiz, task cards, time line, cause and effect of the war, and the maps.
The task cards can be used to review and also to test the students if needed. Students can read the filled out task cards and then explain it in their own words. Same with the maps, it includes the map to teach the students where all the states that seceded the Union were and also a map to test them on whether they know the location of the states or not. I have also included a lot of pages to write such as the place where Lincoln was born, his wife, Mary Todd, the war and how it started and the Gettysburg Address.
The story of Abraham Lincoln, his generals and the American Civil War is very long and detailed. I’ve only tried to summarize some of the most important facts for your students to learn about that time that did so much for the rights of humankind regardless of the color of the skin and the Amendments to the Constitution that made it possible.
