The history of the United States, especially the survival of the colonists, their way of life, etc. is pretty much linked to some Native Americans that helped the settlers to survive the new world in their worst situations.

Even though we don’t know that much about certain areas and period of times of Pocahontas’ life, it’s good to know that she was of great importance to the success and accomplishment of helping our colonists establish their first colony named Jamestown. She became entangled in a series of events with Captain John Smith and also married a tobacco grower known as John Rolfe. This permanently linked her to America’s colonial legacy
