The Benjamin Banneker Biography in Spanish document is a great resource to use during the Black History month, as well as any other day that we want to talk about people that made a difference and had a great influence in our American history. It’s a non-fiction document that relates to the study of History (Social Studies) and a great resource for teachers to teach, review and practice the accomplishments of this free African American that had such a great impact in American History as well as Black History.

The resource includes the biography of Benjamin Banneker, an assessment, task cards for students to practice, writing paper for students to name Banneker’s accomplishments in their own words, a timeline, and a layered book (4 pages) for students to write/draw/comment about his life.
