This resource is the lives and successes of these three African American ladies. An outstanding testimony of courage and nationalism. The greatness of these Mathematicians and Science geniuses is one that has not been told before. After the book “Hidden Figures” written by Melfi and Allison Schroeder was published and the movie released, I wanted to share their story with the bilingual students. I wanted them to learn about the problems these ladies encountered in their native language. They might be similar to the ones they face at school and at their neighborhoods. These ladies are an inspiration to anyone in the country, including minorities, African Americans and white Americans.
